I will not be open from Monday 29th September to the end of the year due to some outside building works being undertaken and scaffolding having to be erected outside my house.
Business resumes as normal from the start of 2009.

Southwold is a delightfully unspoilt seaside town ideally situated for exploring East Anglia, including Dunwich Heath, Minsmere Nature Reserve, Woodbridge, Aldeburgh and Snape Maltings. Offering a varied choice of pubs, restaurants and shops, with a
nine-hole golf course, bowling green, tennis courts and local coastal walks.

Home at 21 is run by myself, Pauline Archer, along with my trusted helper Maureen. I've spent the last two years restoring Home at 21 back to its natural beauty, with an aim to give high quality service and the WOW factor when you come and stay.
Maureen and I are a friendly and an easy going team. Our motto is "Chill
Darlings, it's Southwold".

Double Rooms (One room sea-facing)
We have two Double Rooms, one of which has excellent sea views as well as a four-poster bed. Both rooms each have their own
En-suite as well as tea and coffee making facilities.
Twin Room (Sea-facing)
Our one Twin Room also faces the sea with views out across the water. The Twin Room has its own private Bathroom but this is not en-suite. The Twin Room also has tea and coffee making facilities.

All room prices include a full English breakfast which is served between 8:45 am and 9:15 am.
- Fruit juice, cereals, fruit and yoghurts
- Followed by egg, bacon, sausages, grilled tomato and mushrooms
- Toast and Jams
- Tea and Coffee
Most of our produce is supplied locally by Hutsons (butchers) based at the Market Place in Southwold. My fruit and vegetables are also supplied locally.
Please tell me of any dietary requirements at the time of booking.
I will endeavour to cater to your needs.
While as a rule I do not allow pets, I do take a very well-behaved pet dog. I do like to speak to the owner first as I need to establish size, how old, how good and let the owner know my house rules.
We are sorry, but we do not allow children at this property.
The Dining / Sitting Room is a large Victorian room where you can take your breakfast and then lounge on the sofas, enjoy the superb views looking out to sea, borrow a book from the book case, play cards or just relax at your leisure.
I only ask that between 10:00 am and 10:30 am this room be vacated so we may tidy up the catering facilities.
By train the best route towards Southwold would be via London Liverpool Street or Ipswich to Darsham (nearest station to Southwold). Local trains are now run by National Express.
Taxis must be booked well in advance to co-incide with your train travel arrangements.

Booking In
We would appreciate if guests could aim to Book In between
12 noon and 1:00 pm or 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm. We can of course accept almost any arrival times, by arrangement.
Departures
On the day of departure we request that guests depart their room on or before 10:15 am.
